Reluctantly, he followed the Anzu into his room; the white pest wriggled slightly within his arms, digging it’s claws into his arms in a silent complaint. Despite his unease around the other, he was relived that Liev had agreed to assist him regarding the bird’s treatment. That one was problem down… once the bird was treated, he’d tackle the second part of why we had sought the male out; combat training.

Following the other’s gesture he placed the bird carefully onto the table, his eyes scanning over the other table full of foreign objects he had nether seen before. Trust Liev to have a strange hobby…

Silently, he stepped back and watched as the other tried to cut the bird free from the tangled thread. When he had found the bird, he had only been carrying his katana and had decided that cutting the thin net away with the sword would be a bad idea; instead he had cut around the bird, freeing it from the majority of the net so he could carry it. Looking back, he wished he had managed to remove more of the netting than he had.

He flinched as the bird screamed, his ears ringing from the sharp sound. But quickly enough, the bird was freed from the net. At Liev’s command, he silently moved over to the bird, but instead of moving to hold it down straight away, he simply stared down at the bird for a moment, baring his teeth a little; the pest wasn’t as dumb as it would like others to think it was, it knew well enough to sit still.

Regardless, he mimicked the hold in which Liev had used and restrained the nuisance’s movements. “It’s not seriously damaged then?” he asked, unsure of whether the bird’s ability to fly would be hampered by such injuries.
