His words seemed to feed the greedy green of the girl's eyes, narrowing pupils and engorging the expanse as a sharp smile, so familiar, glittered across her fox-like face. With her slanted eyes and tipped ears, Salvia appeared to him to be just that - A little fox. With a swell of amusement, the snake-eyes male wondered if that was how others saw him; so much more powerful than the tiny kit-creatures, and yet their canniness was renown.

Her eagerness to gain the civilized bipedal form satisfied the male. It was a form he much preferred, only seeking the quadrupedal for hunting or travel. Keen eyes surveyed her keenly, glittering with shallow flecks of approval. The girl-child was malleable clay, but already her parents had imprinted within her valuable ideas and traits. The Revlis male could see small ripples of Eris within her, and this proved to strengthen his connection with the whelp.

Her sharp tongue demanded of him. Pupils narrowed within acid olive, but from his bearded maw swelled a chuckle laced with poison. Her dominative nature was a trait to be fostered, but clear lines needed to be drawn, and drawn young. With sudden grace her rose to four paws, gaining again the height he had lost in laying down. Lanky, but tall, the male peered down his whiskered nose at the girl. "Am I just?" He would of course, oblige her in this - She was too precious a material to be wasted. However, insolence toward him would not be tolerated. "Salvia, Salvia, Salvia..." The tenor warble of his song-song tone ebbed with danger, which glittered in his sharp smile.

Dull ivy, laced with serpentine venom, glittered down at her. "You are not your mother, my girl... Remember your place," The chiding was given lightly, and to show that he loved her still, loved her above all others, the manipulator moved to tap her lightly on the nose with one large forepaw. "Ask your uncle nicely," He cooed with a darkly syrupy grin.
