After settling into Dahlia, Adrian took Iliya on a little vacation. He tore them both away from their new home for just a short while, but long enough for them to get to the same beach Iliya explored a few months ago excitedly. Granted, it was a shorter walk from Dahlia compared to Cercatori, but it was still quite a journey. It would be much easier on horse... too bad Adrian hadn't acquired one yet, and had no idea how to go about getting one. But it was okay; both of them didn't mind the exercise or the pleasant, scenic view along the way. Getting to Drifter Bay made it worth the journey; Iliya was just as excited as he was the first time and was running around in the sand and digging holes and doing all sorts of cute things.

The two of them worked their way down the shore. Iliya ran in the waves as they lapped at the sandy bay, occasionally following them as they withdrew and then running from them as they chased him back to Adrian. The blonde male was very content to see his pup so happy, and even more content to see that they even had company here. Last time they came, there was an older female, but they quickly left that day before she got cranky as his Liya.

The male was a stranger from another pack he didn't know and it seemed he'd ridden his horse down here. The gray Russo pup was incredibly eager to run over and see them, but Adrian knew he'd probably end up spooking the horse and didn't want him to get trampled, so he quickly picked the protesting youngster up into his arms. He was getting harder and harder to carry, as he was growing quickly. He was five months old now, and it was showing. Good thing he was so large in comparison to the growing boy, who had a rather small lupus form. In a month or two, he should be able to shift for the first time... Adrian was excited about that. But anyways.

Adrian approached the stranger with a friendly face and a wagging tail, hoping the male wouldn't be averse to having some company. Iliya struggled in Adrian's arms, but he held firm, unwilling to let him go and freak out the guy's horse and possibly make a terrible first impression. He didn't need to go around pissing people off. "Hey there." He spoke friendlily, but was unsure what else to say. Adrian needed to get back into his social groove; he wasn't as well versed in situations like this anymore, and that was pretty sad.
