Terrible sting and terrible storm

She greeted him as she usually did, the nuzzle, the smile, the mirror of his own actions. Haku rarely cared much of other's view of him, but he had jeopardized quite a bit by his actions, and especially after it had leaked out to Iskata. The chocolate male watched his sibling's gaze fall to ground and follow a small insect. It was as he had expected, unfortunately. Tonight he would dream of crushing Iskata's skull against a rock. He wrinkled his eyebrows in his usual pretend-to-be-confused way, but as she continued, he decided to not play games today, and his gaze darkened slightly, though nowhere close to the insanity his victims had experienced before their world had been stained red.

"I'd believe she would know better than to run about and gamble with her own safety like that." He squeezed the ant slowly with his paw, a symbol of the fall of the veil. "You are proud? Are you proud of the blood I have spilled as well?" He was displeased with these new facts. If Iskata had been here and told her own version of what she had heard to Mew, then who else knew already? Did their dear aunt know that she was giving out his and his family's position to the coyotes, which would come after them and stain the grass red? From an older relative, he had expected better, more brains, but other wolves rarely did anything but disappoint him.

He had wanted to tell Mew himself. He wanted to drag her with him down into the world of blood and flesh. A war was coming, he had seen it in his dreams.[/html]
