He had been sitting up on the rocky cliff that hung above the beach, and watched the female make her way across the border. With that, he was climbing down the path with silent ease, dark fur hiding his form until he reached the shore and advanced to meet the stranger (who, in truth, was not that at all). “You need to leave,” he said calmly, placing himself directly in her path.
