He didn't say anything when she apologized, only watched the kingdom before him fall into sleep, darkness long since set over it. The world was a dark blue, grey, and black painting. And it did nothing to soothe his emotions. Silvano was hurting. He had no clue what Giselle meant to him and she was already telling him, indirectly, that she was not interested at all and that she did not much care for him to boot. But he also had not slept much, yet he was sure his mind was clear. This was no dream. It was no nightmare, but it sure felt just as bad as if it were.
She moved away from him, to the edge of the balcony. He turned his head away from her, ears turned back. Silvano had no idea she was crying; he was trying his hardest to ignore her and fight his childish desire to cry. It was working well for him; he had to grow up and this was the only way to do it. Man up. Man up and grow up.
He stiffened slightly as she came up behind him, ears standing straight. But he relaxed almost instantly, his tense arms softening, muscles slacking. Silvano heard her voice falter; clearly she had been crying. "Don't cry..," he said softly, voice gentler than before. A dark hued hand covered Giselle's smaller, pale one. There was nothing to be said about what she told him. Her apology was.. acceptable, but he still felt as though she was skirting around the real question. And that was what bothered him now. He could forgive her for a lot, especially since she did not mean anything with malice. Ever. "But.. but why do you think it was a dream..?" he asked, voice breaking slightly, only a slight sign of his genuine concern.
