Keese found the young male before him to be rather peculiar. His timid nature belying his much higher rank in the pack than the serf himself. Unlike many of the other’s Keese had met, this large fellow seemed indifferent about the lack of respect that he had shown. Something required of his lowly standing in this mongrel infested place they called a pack, court, whatever it was. Keese regarded him with much indifference, though he kept a watchful on his blazed steed. It was the hoofed creature that Keese found to be the most intimidating. The young man’s own posture seemed to be seeking out Keese’s own approval.
That all changed the moment Keese gave his name. His arrogant smirk growing as fear flushed over the masked male’s face and his ears flattened against his skull. ”Take it you’ve heard of me then. Glad we got that out of the way.” He said with a bit of a chuckle as the larger male backed away his mouth agape. ”What’s that? Can’t hear you.” He taunted as he cupped an ivory hand around his ear and leaned a little closer as the boy seemed to open his mouth to speak, no words coming forth.
Keese’s cocky, arrogant swagger faltered as the horse began pawing the ground and stepped towards him. Keese’s own ears pressed against his skull as he backed away. He bared his fangs at the horse, his hackles rising. ”Back off!” He snarled.
