Deuce smelled like warmth and home and Twilight Vale...and Sirius did want to go back with her. But he just couldn't. She could come see him here any time, but if he stayed in their packlands he wouldn't be able to see her. This way they both would be a lot happier, right?
He wasn't sure what else they could do, but was excited to see her and talk to her. "I...is not coming back to the Vale...I lives here with dad now"
