As she finished her heart, she heard someone approach. She looked over at the source and saw a large female with a knife, towering over her. Rio’s adrenaline started to pump and her heart began to race for the same reasons as the adrenaline. ”You could find out if you just asked,” she said as she quickly took the slabs of meat off her makeshift barbecue. She put them on a leather cloth that she had laid out next to, but far enough away from, the fire. She wasn’t going to burn her meat for a stupid trespasser. When she had everything on there, she rose from her sitting position to face the female. She was a lot bigger than her and seemingly was carrying a bone knife. So was Rio, but it wasn’t bone. It was metal. Rio laughed in her face as she sized her up. Obviously, bigger, but was she badder?
”What do you want?” Her voice was sincere and calm. There was no kindness in it as the female before her seemed to want to injure her. Rio gripped a small hunting knife behind her back that had been hidden the whole time. There was no way the other would have seen it. Her fingers squeezed the object tightly. Her blood began to boil as she readied herself for what could come. There was viciousness in her eyes as she eyed the bigger wolf before her. Size didn’t mean anything. The bigger they are, the harder they fall and Rio wanted to make this bitch fall.
Rio had her own strategy for bringing down foes. Just imagine them as Harlowe. She wanted revenge bad on Harlowe, so why not get her revenge everytime she fought another wolf? Harlowe had been slightly bigger than her, but not black. He wasn’t black, he was white. It was all the same, different shades of different colors. Rio readied herself as she glared at the female before her.
