Silvano waved his hand at her, shaking his head. "No, no, no. Don't worry about it, Giselle." He almost flushed at the thought, that she ought to give him a gift. "I thought it was... appropriate. You know, after .. everything." He rubbed at the back of his neck, wondering if he ought to keep tip toeing around the subject or just let her forget about it. Silvano still could not forget the look on her face when he had kissed, and how hurt she had seemed. And still he could not help but keep burying himself further in a grave of his own invention. The note seemed to loom on his mind. But it was far, far too late to be taking it back from the woman. She would not take it kindly.

Forcing the awkward thoughts out of his head, Silvano smiled and nodded at her. They could read and enjoy the meal. Time went by and the sun slowly sunk ever lower in the sky. They read through several of the tails and talked plenty about them. The food was all but gone, satisfying the tall young man, and the delicate young woman. Silvano leaned back on his elbows, watching the sky changing colors. It reminded him of the paintings that Mati did, especially the ones that he had found in her and Cambria's room. "Giselle, you are a wonder." Silvano's voice was rather absent, but he was grinning like some kind of a madman. "Really. I couldn't imagine eating something like that before, let alone being able to make it." He gave a soft laugh, dropping down onto his back with hands under his head.

"Do you ever think 'bout the future?" he asked absently, looking up at the vague shape of the moon forming in the sky even though the sun was still above the horizon. Birds were chirping loudly as they were finding their nests and roosts. "LIke.. what will be? Where you'll end up?" Who you'll end up with?
