WC: 470. YES I FINALLY GET TO USE THIS TABLE FFFFFFFFFF.

Excitement raised her high when she got up, and was eager to move. She felt a child again when she shook her head at his question. "A.. firefly? They're lovely~!" She chimed, in a voice that was like, and unlike, her very own. Soon after he got up, he joined in on her excitement, and could not help but laugh merrily when he grabbed and pulled her towards the dark forest. It did not seem as dark and as scary when she was with another, but the farther in they got the lights became more frequent, and brighter, and she could hear their soft humming through the leaves. She forgot about the lake, the basket, the books, and the world behind them as Giselle saw a blur of greens, yellows, and whites flash before her, but still she kept on running. As if on cue, though, she halted beside the male as soon as he stopped in his tracks. She almost did not feel his hand slip away from hers, for her heart beat wildly from their run, and her breath caught in her throat at what she saw swim before her.

The forest itself was alive, the glow of fireflies flickering along the earth and hovering up towards the sky. They made the shadows of the cool forest grass dance, and illuminated the dark pines that surrounded them. Lights wove in and out of places, painting the world and giving the night a set of new colors, pure and mingled. "Oh.. it's beautiful." She said, clasping her small hands together. It seemed as if the little bugs did not mind the new presence, as she felt the tickle of a few that landed on her snow white fur before taking wing again. Another bubble of laughter escaped her, feeling brave enough with all of the swimming lights around to step forward into the clearing, dotted with flowers that glittered with unimaginable colors thanks to the floating lights.

Giselle found herself stopping in the middle of it all, watching as the fireflies scattered at first, but then came dancing back, surrounding her in their glow. Her head was tilted upwards, seeing them float along the night sky. "They're like little stars," she murmured dreamily, finding her arms raising to the sky, palms turned upwards. Slowly she brought them together, and twirled once in a full circle. The folds of her pink outfit wrapped around each other, hugging her legs, settling just as she brought her arms back down to he sides. Giselle almost couldn't see the taller man when she lifted her gaze back to him, watching as the many colors of his fur were revealed. What was most impressive, though, was the glow of his vivid eyes, and the young woman suddenly found that she could not look away.
