WC: 309. GLITTER AND HAPPY IS ME.
It was like being in a dream, being witnessed by a thousand tiny lights. They were silent all but for the soft humming, which fell in chorus with the sounds of the early night. Darkness covered them, but among the forest floor it could not be seen. Giselle neither knew nor cared, as she saw the emeralds sparkle and draw closer, captivating her like a moth to a flame. That fire could be seen, and almost felt when Silvano drew up before the smaller woman, and Giselle broke her stare long enough to watch his arms carefully as they moved. Giselle stared back up at him again, their forms now only have a foot apart instead of half a world. A single ear moved forward as she heard his voice, in a tone unlike she had heard before from the man, but it was pleasing all the same.
Words could not be formed upon her lips to answer him, so instead she stepped up towards the tall male, closing the distance between. Her nostrils caught the scent of fresh grass upon his fur, and the familiar smell of dust from books that yearned to be opened. Quietly the ivory damsel raised her left hand, aware then just how much taller he was than she, finding she would not be able to reach his shoulder without standing on his own toes. Instead, she her fingers were placed gingerly upon his right arm, and her eyes moved with her other hand as she rose to meet his open palm, pale fingers gently winding around his thumb as she had often dreamed of in her childhood. The Fantasia stood there, then, raising her head to look up at him as if not believing she were seeing him there, breathing shallow breaths as she felt her heart begin to snake up her throat.
