The friesian stallion watched with interest as the canine slid from the back of the mare. Rem was still unsure of the wolf's true intentions, leaving the horse to err on the side of caution in the predator's presence. Still, the dark horse did not fear the canine and doubted that he was going to cause Rem any undue complications with his mission here. Yet as the wolf spoke there was a change in the horse that came with his last words. Rem's head rose in alert and ears pressed forward eagerly. Yes, the prisoners. The large beast took a single step forward and he bobbed his head. Hoping that the wolf might continue on the subject.

The other horses were of less interest than the canine to the friesian war horse, but he could hardly ignore the others, as the stallion called out to him and made a few steps of approach. Rem knickered back softly, his head lowering as he addressed the other horse, his neck and nose streching out in the other's direction as he sniffed at the air. Rem had no desire for the other stallion to find him a threat to his position here.
