The tall girl smiled to hear his generous reply, tossing him a "Cool. Be right back," as she was already exiting the room In the kitchen she expertly spitted the pheasants, and returned in a matter of seconds to prop them over the flames, before standing back and dusting off her paws. "Awesome, you've done all the hard work... Now there's nothin' left to do but sit back and wait." Making good on her words, she knelt facing the flickering blaze, hands in the crook of her knees, only just within reaching distance of the turnspit. Leaf-green eyes shot him another quick glance from below her fringe, but still couldn't put a name to the face. "I'm Caprica, by the way," she added, and wanted to say something like 'you don't look much like your daddy, do ya?' but didn't want to put her foot in it - the boy could be adopted, for all she knew, although she was certain she could see a little Ravesque in his face somehow. She racked her brains for all she knew about this little family, but all she could remember was that they'd come here to follow her mother Naniko, after whatever it was that had happened to their mother. She got the impression they hadn't all arrived at once, but it had been while she was absent; she simply didn't know all the details. She wasn't nosy, either. He seemed like a nice boy but she wasn't going to start prying for information about the past. For Caprica, the past was best left where it was.
