Tawny was still taking comfort in Teo when she heard the wooden plank being pushed open and then the irritable voice. Without even understanding what the male was saying, she whipped around and crouched in front of her angel. The growling from before started back up when she took in Alaki’s dark coloring, images of the dark man that had hurt her flashing through her mind. She knew it was him, yet the fear and hate would not stop. The girl forced herself to sit there, growling and glaring, refusing to show the fear that was bubbling up inside of her body. Tears pooled in her eyes despite her efforts to stem them, and a few began rolling down her face, turning her dark brown fur even darker.
Her head tilted back and she looked at Matteo nervously, not sure what to do. This was his friend; surely the dark one wouldn’t hurt her white angel? Shaking, she girl began crawling on her hands and knees, ears pinned down against her skull and her tail tucked tightly between her legs. The nightmares and fear would just be welcome, she guessed, as it looked like Teo and the dark one needed some time to talk on their own. I go, Angel… Her dark blue eyes flicked to the side to take in the dark male, flinching under his annoyed gaze. S-sorry… She dropped her head and started crawling faster, leaving a trail of blood droplets from the loose bandage on her stomach.
Once back in her own little cave room, the girl climbed up onto the make-shift bed and buried her face into the warm skins that doubled as blankets. The tears burst forth and she had to force herself to be quiet, not wanting to disturb the males anymore than she’d already done.
