I really like the inspiration for this! I loved Of Mice and Men myself, and the combination of two characters can really be interesting. ^^
Leo, I think, is a bit too big and powerful - I know that he is supposed to be, but there is a large influx of extremely large characters - maybe cut him down to 8 feet to be more realistic (for his Optime form), and instead of killing with his bare hands easily, he could be quite strong and yet not that strong? Just some suggestions for realism - I adore his personality and idea! I also like the idea of Fenwick (since he's a wildcat, his using High Speech is fine) and their history is pretty neat.
One question - would Leo be the character and Fenwick the NPC? If so, then they can join a pack - however, if Fenwick were the character and Leo the NPC, it'd be difficult finding Fenwick a place in a pack. ^^ Just my two cents; nice job with the characters, they're very intersting!
