I'm kinda out of ideas, so you can wrap it up here if you want unless you had something else in mind Smile

The prospect of reading was exciting to the young wolf...even though she didn't entirely understand what "reading" was. It was enough of a change to validate her new life, but not so drastic that it permitted discomfort. Blind was beginning to feel more and more at home, and it helped that her new friend seemed more like a mother than a buddy. I would love to learn how to read... Blind exclaimed. What is reading, exactly?

There was so much to take in, Blind nearly missed Soran's question about the rooms. She was still trying to figure out their purpose and structure, let alone trying to decide which one might belong to her soon. There was nothing more confusing to her than the ways of the humans; her mother had told her stories when she was growing up. They seemed more fantasy than reality, but now she was standing where humans once stood, and the experience was almost ethereal. However, it was frightening all at the same time, for her mother had also told her the stories in which humans murdered innocent wolves to take their skins or simply to get them out of the way. Suddenly a frightening thought crossed her mind: Did these two-legged wolves have the destructive tendencies that actual humans did?

Blind hadn't noticed her steps had halted until she found herself shaking her head clear of her worries. Taking a deep breath, she tried to calm herself down. Relax, Blind, she thought to herself, you're worrying too much again. The dark wolf looked up at the woman, her tail tucking instinctively in fear - suddenly the luperci looked like a monster towering over her. In an attempt to distract herself, Blind plopped down on her rear end and began scratching at her ear like mad with her good leg. She found that, when the fear and worries seemed overwhelming, this little tic helped guide her thoughts elsewhere. She chided herself for her oddities, yes, but it was a method that worked, and that's all she cared about.

Looking up at Soran once more, the woman that had appeared to be a monster only seconds ago was now a warm-smiled, caring creature. A soft grin crept across Blind's lips as she stood to survey the rest of her new home.
