Saxif had a bit of glow about her as she rode with Jager at a steady pace. With the first snowfall she knew it was the perfect time to peddle of her pelts. So she had wandered to the common areas merchants and loners might be and patiently sought out what she needed. She wished she had larger pieces but with the broken arm it proved to be the only decent prey she could trap.
When she made the plan she used nothing but live traps in order to properly kill and bleed the animals as not to ruin the fur. They were definitely the best work she’s done and took much pride in them. So the pack that rested on either side of the horse was openly decorated with the different shades of pelts as the rabbits had begun to lighten. It was like waving a flag saying that she was ready to trade. Within the pack were fresh and dried meats, some lightly spiced with local herbs others left plain. Much was from the help of a friend who had been learning to cook so she was grateful for that. She hoped she could get a decent bounty with what she had to offer.
She noticed the tracks before she set eyes on the light colored female in the distance. She let out a howl that stated her desire to trade as she carefully approached. Jager grew discomforted by the presence of the other luperci forcing the hunter to jerk the reign slightly. Behave. She warned and paused at a distance awaiting a response. She had her hand on her chest gripping the string of her intricately decorated bow incase the stranger was hostile. Her draw would be swift, she had no doubt in that so she just watched and listened.
