Tawny pushed herself up, resting back on her elbows as she watched Wretch take a large swig from the bottle. Her eyes narrowed a little as the lighter female began coughing, but not nearly bad as her own. Huffing softly, she sat up further and grabbed the bottle away again, tipped her head backwards and let it rain. The golden alcohol poured into her mouth, slipped down over her throat and slithered down her throat. A burning fire followed and began to burn but he refused to allow another weak reaction. The need to be strong for Wretch, to show the other woman that she could be tough and take some pain and discomfort.
Her dark blue eyes raised and she took in the other girl as the burn slowly faded and a soft fog seemed to fill her head. ”We sh-should try the others…see what they taste like.?” Stretching out, she grabbed another bottle, this one was almost a rectangle, just with soft edges. The liquid inside was clear and looked like water, but Tawny was sure it was more of the foul tasting elixir. Cracking the top off of that one, she avoided sniffing directly this time and simply took a sip of it also. The reaction wasn’t as bad as the first time, but she did gag a little bit. It was nasty, and it burned worse than the other one.
Wrinkling her nose in disgust, she slowly tilted her head a bit and poured some down the hatch, proving to Wretch that she could do it without flipping out.
