     While the games were below him, he was still entertained by them. Chasing girls under the moonlight, dew soaking into their fur, laughing and running because it was a part of the game, the chase, the thrill of the hunt. There had been other games too—these less spectacular, swords and spears and horse racing. As grown up as he thought he was, he still lived very much like a child.
     “Oh, nothing spectacular,” he offered, blue eyes turning away and out to the valley below. “Covert mission, as it were.” Shrugging, the wolf turned back to the girl. “I’m Ladon,” he said, extending one hand. After so long, lying about his name sounded remarkably natural.
