Frodo gave her the signal to run, and Terra didn't hesitate. She dove into the undergrowth, squeezing herself into a gap the hog couldn't follow her through. Frustrated at having lost it's victim the pig continued to squeal and charge around. Now Frodo leaped in. Terra watched in awe as he hit the pig's back and forced the arrows through the tough skin. He looked just like a valiant warrior, fighting the hog with all his might. When it finally dropped dead Terra crawled out from her gap. She stared at the hog in shock. He'd brought it down so easily where she'd struggled.
Terra shook her head at Frodo's words. She hadn't done well at all. It was only a lifetime of dodging things that wanted to kill her that had kept her safe through the encounter. Still, as always Terra wouldn't turn down food. There was enough for her to bring some back to her pack, a very nice thing indeed. Terra had gained the ability to hunt small critters as well, though she certainly wouldn't be taking on any more hogs until she felt ready for it. Terra glanced at Frodo, a grudging admiration there. He wasn't much older than her, yet already had the makings of a fierce warrior. Terra was just a thief and a trickster, living off luck.
Shifting into optime form Terra grabbed the hog and one of the arrows used to kill it. Making use of the sharp edge Terra sliced the hog open, pulling the tough skin away. She didn't have a knife to slice it into sections, but Frodo probably did. She waited for Frodo to divide the rest of it up.
