Such stuff as dreams are made on.

Sorry for the wait on this hun, it's been a horrible internetless couple of weeks :S

The more that the sable female looked over the younger pale female the more her demeanour and heart softened, she could not help it; the young female seemed so helpless out here, someone of her age was usually safely nestled in the bosom of a pack, being alone at that age was hard. That was something that Soran knew all too well, she had been forced out of her own home at a young age by her father and had soon found herself alone as her adoptive mother and brother were both killed. The ebony female could not help but feel that she should offer the girl some kindness, she had never really recieved any herself when she had been in the same situation, not until she had found her way to the old Bleeding Souls lands and the Syemv wolves, but that just made her more determined to help those who were alone in the cold, especially when they seemed to be so young. The dark female heard the young girl mutter Zalen's name in a questioning tone as she approached and she paused mid step for a moment, it seemed that the girl had mistaken her for her dark student, the pair had joked before about how they looked like mother and son so the dark female was far from offended, she loved Zalen dearly, almost as if he were indeed one of her own children. She chose not to speak on it though, waiting for the girl to speak first, to answer her question, she looked so cold and alone out here, the dark Censor could not keep the look of motherly worry off of her face, she was a natural mother nowadays, wanting to care for everyone. The girl apologised and said that she did not mean to intrude and Soran nodded her dark head in acceptance.
Do not worry, you were not intruding, although if you had crossed the borders you would have been. She replied, her tone soft. She listened as the girl continued to speak, explaining that she was hugging the borders as there was not much activity anywhere else in the lands, the dark female nodded her large head again, but did not speak, perking her ears up to listen as the girl spoke, her explanation making Soran simply want to protect her even more.

The girl spoke again and said that she would leave, she began to turn and a sudden panic coursed through the ebony female, she could not allow this young girl to leave. The lands were not always safe and with the winter now upon them they would become more trecherous, the food would become even more scarce and safe places to sleep would be cold and uninviting; the dark female could not send the girl out into that world, she seemed so young, the very idea of what might befall her caused the ebony Censor to shudder as she looked at the young female.
Oh no, don't go, please. You look frozen half to death, at least allow me to find you somewhere in our lands where you can warm up, perhaps you could have some food? The jet female replied, her motherly instincts taking over, she wanted this young female to be safe and warm, even though she had only known her for a few moments it seemed that the girl knew Zalen, in fact she had seemed quite disappointed when she realised that Soran herself was not the sable male, so she must have been his friend; and any friend of Zalen's was a friend of Sorans. She smiled at the young female as she watched her.
My name is Soran and this is Crimson Dreams, I am the Censor of this pack and I welcome you onto the lands so that you might get warm. What is your name? The dark female spoke again, her lips curling into a smile. For a moment she paused, wondering why the girl had seemed so let down when she had seen that she was not Zalen, in the end she concluded that the easiest thing to do would be to simply ask the girl.
Zalen is my good friend, how do you know him? The Censor added, still smiling at the younger female, attempting to make her feel comfortable enough here to cross the borders. Soran could not make her go back out into the lands to fend for herself, the high chances of her starving or freezing were too terrible to think about.
