To Hotaru the pack always seemed strong and weak at the same time. The Artists were weak because of how the death and betrayal had disturbed the pack order. It had led to fights between mates and friends. Many had left the pack and their leader was still young and untested. The pack had been shaken to it's very core, and was struggling because of it. Even Hotaru wondered once if she should leave such a delicate pack, yet she was tied to it and any fate that may befall it. There was no telling if another pack would be so willing to take her in. Yet despite it's weaknesses Cercatori d'Arte was strong. They were gathering together and working through their differences. They were building a boat, and for once Hotaru didn't feel like a spectator. She felt like a part of the pack and welcomed it's warmth. The pack had accepted her and in many ways their kindness made it strong.

Taking Taliesin's direction Hotaru searched for the rock he spoke about. It wasn't hard to find, Hotaru knew where most of the rocks were and from there she was able to guess which one the male had spoken of. She used her staff to test it's dimensions. She tapped it softly against the sides at different locations and ran the wood across the top before extending her arm to find the back. True to his words the rock was wonderfully flat and would make a great spot for her to sit and work. The blind wolf deposited her shoulder bag at its base and was about to thank Taliesin when the blind wolf heard approaching footsteps. Hotaru's red-tipped ears flicked back as she listened to the Captaina's greeting.

Hotaru turned and bowed slightly to Skye. "Good day." It was important to always give precedence to the highest ranking wolves. With her greeting to Skye given the blind wolf turned back to Taliesin. She would need some help figuring out how to shape and form the wood. Once Hotaru had a clear picture in her mind she would be able to work well enough. With the help of her walking stick Hotaru made her way over to the male saying, "Thank you for the rock suggestion earlier, it will be a great place to work. Are there any finished pieces that need to be replicated? Or would you like some help with anything you might be working on?" What the grey wolf really wanted to ask was if either Taliesin or Skye needed help with woodcarving. However, she believed it would be rude to ask the Captiana if she needed help. If Skye wanted Hotaru's help, Skye could ask for it. Hotaru was just trying her best to be helpful without being rude.

High up in the sky Fawkes watched as the wolves worked on their boat. He had no intentions of landing, the thermals at the beach were too tempting for him to pass up. Occasionally he would swoop down, but otherwise the red tailed hawk remained high in the sky doing loops and circles.
