Word Count » 454 :: OOC: Sorry this took so long Sad

Eclipse smiled and remained quiet deciding to listen to what he had to say and just with the few things she was able to give him, he bombarded her with information. His words both heartened her and disheartened her, and she wondered how all the stars told him all this. She watched as he ticked off each star, she couldn’t know how he could possibly do such a thing when there were countless stars and he chose to dot what he did on the sand before them. She bristled as he spoke of her being rancor, and a pessimist, and even dared say she used malice, though come to think of it she had, in her past been like that at least once. Though she had been a pup. Had she learned from her mistakes, or would she make them again? Her ears kept listening as he spoke. She made a face when he spoke of love and the act of it. She felt that his look at the stars were a bit wrong on that part. She had disliked the thought of it, especially the way that Razekiel had explained it to her, even though Jace had set her right, and she had learned that was the way children were made, she didn’t think she would like it. So maybe the stars weren’t always correct, she thought to herself as she continued to listen. She did not make him stop even though he said a few more things she did not agree upon. She just followed him as he spoke on, watching him tick off the stars in turn and thought about all he said.

“So if someone were born the same day as me would the stars say the same about them? I don’t know, some of that seems a little far fetched to me.”

She said apprehensively. She didn’t want to offend him, but she wanted him to know there were some things he said that she didn’t think she could ever believe. She had always been open to new ideas, wasn’t she the cook, while everyone still ate raw? Well yes the majority of the time she ate raw meat too, but that was beside the point.

“What are Amethysts and sapphires?”

She asked inquiringly. Thinking of the stones he mentioned, well they were of course stones, but what they looked like and why she should keep them near her was beyond her. Though she might understand why she was shades of violet. They were the color of her fathers eyes. She had envied her father, and his patience, up untill his disappearance, but she would keep that one to herself.
