Powder blue eyes did not leave the sight of her home until it could no longer be seen. Gone. It was gone. Other former Dreamers had left a few days prior to the couple's departure, and Giselle wondered if they had a hard a time accepting a new life as she was. Since she had come over the mountain and through the woods to the beach where she would meet her new family for the first time, the snow white female did not think to leave it. It was where she found caring friends and her one true love, and as all those memories were left behind the hills, the female began to cry. It was silent, at first, as she walked behind Silvano and the growing colt, but a few times the auburn female was sure her gasps for air were not unheard. For a good part of the trip, she took to focusing on the cart that was filled with all of their things, especially the books from the Crimson Dreams library that were a physical remainder of their former home; but even more importantly, it would forever remain in their hearts.

There were no songs to be sung that day, no flowers that looked beautiful enough to pick; Giselle felt defeated...lost. Through the constant breaks they took to rest, the woman simply kept to herself, and her red eyes forward towards their destination. At the very least, she had her mate and the stallion, and was more than grateful to have them by her side. Had 'Elle been left alone, all alone, in this world again... she wasn't sure what she would do. As the court came to view before them, Giselle laid a dainty hand upon Heritage's neck, feeling the sweat beneath her fingertips. She mouthed a silent thank you towards him for all of his effort to pull the bulk of their things, but knew he would need to stop soon.

The woman could feel her eyes tearing up again as they approached the border, remembering that the last time she came here was to seek help for the raid that had plagued their home and their lives. Taking a deep breath, she moved around to stand next to her mate, and wrapped her hands around one of his arms like a scared child might. When he sounded out the call for someone of the Court, her other free hand wiped at her eyes and stood as straight as she could. Now, there would be no looking back, and it was time to make the best of the situation.
