The gentle sway of her hips and the way she twirled a finger into the golden strands framing her face illustrated a girl lost in her own day dreams. However, this act was actually drawn from anxiety, imaging the conversation with Sirius and how she would tell him the news. Clover could only hope that her love would be just as pleased as she knew she was to hold his children within her.
When pale yellow found the woman within Sirius’ chambers, Clover’s pace hiccupped with a hesitation in her step. Both the hand by her face and the one that gently cradled her stomach fell away to her sides, but in their wake a gentle smile blossomed upon her face. Though she knew of the slave woman of Sirius, she had not really exchanged any words with her. And while Clover accepted the hierarchy of the Family in which slaves served a very specific purpose, Clover looked to Wander as just another Luperci with whom she could make friends. She had always been the type to give everyone a fair chance.
