Jiva was constantly worrying about Palaydrian, but to a point where he wasn’t being too overbearing. He had helped her out into the day and set her against the tree where he had been reading up on herbs and stuff when they first met, which gave him an idea once he was about to sit next to her himself. He let her know he would be right back and he hurried away to find some old papers and writing utensils, she had shown interest in wanting to learn some things, and he knew that she would need to exercise her arms and wrists anyway, not using them for too long would render her weaker than even before. He knew he couldn’t forgive himself if she was left like that. When he got back he could see the beautiful woman resting her eyes and taking in the sun in which made her look like a glowing angel. He felt his heart beat against his chest. She was so beautiful! How could he ever think of anyone else when she was here? He looked at her mouth and could remember the kiss, and blushed at the thought. He had been far too scared to mention the night just in case she forgot it or she didn’t want anything to happen between them. No matter what Zalen told him, he was still as unsure about her feelings towards him as he ever had been. Quietly he moved toward her and sat on his knees next to her. He let his hand fall on her shoulder, a smile on his face.
“Hey Palaydrian. I got something for you to try out, you up for it?”
Hopefully anything to get her mind off the events a few days earlier. He had been so scared that he lost her and for a moment he almost did, not due to her dying, but because of the trauma that she had been caused, but now here she was, and though he could tell she was being tormented especially at night, she was still with them and Jiva would make sure to keep her safe.
