She was not young! Adelle was a warrior of the pack, practically an adult. There was no need to treat her like a child! Indignant Adelle looked up at Enzo, a huge pout ready to break out. She was ready to be treated like an adult. Adelle knew she was ready. There was so much she knew, after all. She didn't need to be treated so gently. Enzo's eyes were bright with mischief, teasing at her. Was it a joke then? Adelle paused, uncertain again. Did he take her seriously?
Scowling a little now Adelle lifted her cup, quickly emptying it. He was embarrassing her! Adelle would like another ball, one where she could dance with Skoll. If he was here though, Adelle would probably be teased mercilessly about it. Perhaps it was a good thing that he wasn't here. This way she could keep her mouth shut and pretend that she didn't like anyone. That seemed like a good plan. Nodding her head Adelle peered out to the crowd, now feeling like melting into the ground.
