The cat puffed up at his reaction, stretching himself out languidly. It was a very fluid movement to observe. As if there were no bones, just this graceful pile of muscle. Puzzling, really. With the thought of tender muscle Tharin's mouth watered a little. Would the cat taste good? Then again, it had talked. Tharin wasn't too sure how comfortable he'd feel with eating something that could talk to him. He'd never been presented with this problem before.
A whole new world had just opened up to him when the cat talked, as puzzling and complex as the discovery that two legged wolves existed. Tharin sat down in puzzlement, studying the cat. Exactly how he was to proceed with such a quandary he didn't know. At last he settled on answering the cat's question. He could figure out what he was supposed to do with a talking animal after that. I'm looking for a dog.
