Jiva made a few excursions outside his pack, but he did not go too far, in fact he intended to make sure that there wasn’t a trail of wolf or coyote or anything unwanted near the pack at all. He was going beyond what was expected of him, but so far the only encounters he had met were friendly ones... and he himself was far too friendly to always be in suspicion not like Palaydrian, but he probably would if he were the one who had been attacked. He was following the river, though the long way when it made steep falls. He learned early on from Titania that he was no mountain climber. Soon he came to the falls which he couldn’t help but admire, and think that he should bring Drin here and have a picnic or something. That was something to think about for the future.
It seemed he wasn’t alone. He had almost missed the msell because of the misty waters that formed aroudn the waterfall, but he smelled raw meat and he looked to see a man working near the river, skin being set out to dry and he smiled a little. He moved, though more cautiously than he had with the others’ that he met. Who knew what anyone would act like especially with food.
“Hello.”
He looked at the man then the meat he had cut up, that was a deer, and he wondered how the man could fell a whole deer on his own. He looked around to make sure that no one else was around. He couldn’t smell anyone but the mist smell of the river was all he could get in his nose at the moment. This would be something that would keep him wary at the moment.
