Self consciously his arms rose and folded across his stomach like a child trying to hide the evidence of the destruction he had caused. Not the least put off by Strel's instant doubt in the matter of whether he'd eaten or not he kept both his head and eye level as steady as he could, smiling in a somewhat secretive matter. “Perhaps” was all he said; he'd let the red-head ponder and squirm over whether he was eating or not as punishment for being all to nosy... at least, he'd try to make him squirm, since nothing ever seemed to go to plan when his ex-uncle was involved he didn't get his hopes up.. to much. Lifting his shoulders he shrugged in a semi-sulking manner at the mention of meat and the expectation he eat a portion of it. The thought of eating made his stomach ache and the memories of throwing up came back at him strongly with great force, the desire to heave was there even though he knew that there was nothing within him to make a re-appearance.
Trailing behind like a whipped puppy his steps faltered when there was mention of having a hut in the woods. Was he not wanted in the hotel? Already too much of a burden? Rationally he could see the thoughts stemmed from lack of self confidence but there seemed to be some truth in them. He'd made a point to go against Stel wherever he could, arguing with him, insulting him. Here was Stel's pack and it wouldn't look good upon his ex-uncle if the rest of the pack saw his behaviour and state. Perhaps it was best he was hidden away and settled into solitude again, even if he wanted to cling onto the kindness the other had so far showed him despite everything he'd done to push it away. “I don't want to” each word was breathed out silently, the lad freezing as soon as he realised he'd voiced his opinion aloud and he wanted to flee like a corner animal, eyes wide and panic filled.
