The monotone femme stared at Draugr for a moment, gathering her thoughts quickly before her trail of musings was interrupted by searing pain, 'Ah!' she hissed, realising that the pain was worse than last time. Orange eyes darted to Draugr frantically as a never ending wave of pain warped her whole body. From the position she had been sat in, she'd slumped to almost lying face down on the floor, panicking as she attempted to lessen the pressure in her spine. This continued for five long minutes, Odessa grew more and frantic as the time passed. Grey fingers clung to the ruffled furs desperately for another moment or so before the medic took a deep breath and began to do what her body prompted her to do.
It was obvious to her this pup was larger than Ankh was, as the pain was more ferocious and the time was ticking on. With a tremendous final effort, Odessa's work was again over. And there was a thankful feeling of emptiness again. Orange eyes fell to the 'pup' but widened when she saw two, tangled together. Both dead. But Odessa was just pleased it was over for the moment. Moving back into her former seated position, she recollected Ankh with a dull, tired smile.
