Faolin Mogotsi

--

Faolin eyed the distance that was between her and her daughter, calculating how long it would take if the boy decided to spring for her. It seemed he was completely distracted though, taking in a much bigger interest in her mate. The femme did not move an inch, the only thing that moved was her ragged breath and her throat vibrating with a low, fierce growl. It was not even a moment later that the scent of another crossed her Corona, and she was in between Andrezej and Talitha now, okay, so that would give her time to spring on him if he did decide on a whim to change his plans. Another scent, this one was also recognizable, Anselm, even though she only had spoken briefly with the male about his own family and Inferni she would not forget his scent.

Then, something else crossed her path, another scent. This one faint in her memory, not one she had smelled in the last day or so. Her eyes drifted to Gabriel as he yelled to Anselm some word, something that did not make sense. She shook her head and leaped out of the way as Gabriel aimed to snatch Andrezej leg. The queen quickly circled around to her daughter, brushing her tail along her flank comfortingly, standing beside the taller golden woman that stood between the fight and her daughter. That scent tickled her nose again and finally realized who it was.

"Rachias?" she whispered under her breath, head turned in the direction the scent was blowing from. Her blood red eyes could not pick out a figure, then she caught a glimpse of the girl's caramel and chocolate colored hair. What was she thinking? She should run! Then another realization hit her, would she be so willing to lose another brother? No matter the problems he had caused, how he had aimed to destroy almost everyone's life. Faolin could not budge but only watched the girl, trying to catch her eyes with her own and lock onto them. Telling her to turn and run, she would have to chase her down later once everything was settled. Right now they had to worry about Andrezej. Faolin dipped her muzzle down next to her daughters ear and licked behind her soothingly. "It's okay, we're here. Everything is fine now." Well, at least she hoped.
