In the winter we won't have to worry about it...it'll stay cold outside, whatever extra we catch." It was important for there always to be extra food, in case one of them fell ill and was unable to hunt. Or, in Naniko's case, when the pups got older but couldn't hunt yet. Now the pups were a definite thing, a permanent idea, and she was going to make sure that nothing went wrong this time around.
"Those two ideas actually kind of work with each other. We can take the mansion, the land just around it, and then move westward. It won't be the exact same territory, no, but the hills would make good hunting grounds. Sneak attacks and such."
