What the fuck did she offer him? A smile and congratulations? What the hell, could she not detect that there was no happiness whatsoever in his body? His body was stiff as she touched him. This was terrible, horrible news! More confusion leapt into his system as Firefly’s name popped into the air. Oh, Mew, a grown up adult, but so naïve at times. He envied her that. He shook his head violently. No! Sure it would have been misery if Firefly got infested with puppies as well, but this was worse as this was another female. There’s no fragment of anything wonderful in that fact, and it is not Firefly, it’s someone else. His eye contact broke and found the cool grown at her feet.
