The lightning had captured his attention once more, seizing a hold of it with the beautiful and deadly yellow streaks. He saw the stranger silently acknowledge his presence from the corner of his eye, glad that he didn’t seem to be too unwelcome. The Shadows wolf sat himself down on the soft sand of the beach and resumed his observation of the sky above. The question brought up by the other ended the lengthy silence, and Kieran refocused his attention on the wolf who sat a short distance away. “Can’t say that it does.” He been in these lands for a while now, but he had never seen anything like this before.

He was glad the silence had been broken, proving once more that his presence wasn’t annoying her. Kieran hadn’t met too many unfriendly wolves while living in Bleeding Souls, and for this he was grateful; as outgoing as he could be, he was bound to get into trouble for it one day. He offered Mantra a friendly smile of his own in return, though his gaze quickly flew to the sky once it shook with thunder. It was relatively calm for a few moments, and Kieran looked in tawny wolf’s direction in time to see her shrug. Before he could make any comment on the peculiarity of the weather, the sky let out another roar of thunder. “Perhaps a storm’s approaching?” A simple conjecture, though it seemed that the rain was still a ways off.
