Me too :/ Time went so slowly when I was sick but now it's zooming along. Abbiamo finito?
Despite the boy's happiness and the new passion for a new beginning that was welling up inside of him, he felt strangely heavy. For some reason he felt as if his mother was unhappy with what he had decided. She was really quite quiet, and he was rather insecure about taking the new responsibility he had. He was old enough now though, he figured. Beppe couldn't always be translating back and forth, though; she had to pick up some English eventually. He was rushing it, though. They had only been there a few days.
Maria was quite obviously happy there, though. The cold wasn't quite getting into her bones, and she was smiling. Beppe smiled too, also pleased. There seemed to be great potential over here, though the climate was so different and the social life seemed to be too. They'd adapt.
