With the new season came spring fever. Honoré had an unusual amount of energy. And unfortunately, his pack mates were none too pleased about it. He was annoying enough to start off with; add a boost of energy to that and you’ve got a real problem on your hands. The Québécois was like a child on a sugar high (if not worse). Even his body had problems channeling his liveliness. A pack mate had politely told him to get some fresh air, which was exactly what he was doing right now. However, his “small” walk had led him several miles south; a little too far from home.

Oh, it didn’t faze him now but it would later when his muscles got tired and he’d have to walk all the way back. He was content for the time being, that’s what really mattered. Que sera, sera! He’d deal with the upcoming problem later, much later. Right now, he focused on walking and looking good while doing so. He’d tried several kinds of walks up until now and his favorite one was the “runway model” one. It was a strut that very few people could pull off successfully. Of course, it was no challenge for a talented person like him. Honoré was so impressed with himself that he’d often look back at the way his butt cheeks jiggled this and that way.

He was so caught up with ogling himself that he didn’t notice the child on the ground until he almost stepped on her. The Tenens froze in his tracks, a little annoyed and taken aback by the sudden disturbance. Yes, it was her fault. She should’ve gotten out of the way and… what the heck was she doing? Eyes of metallic bronze travelled from the little girl to the egg in her mouth. The Poet didn’t know much about eggs and such, but he had a vague idea of what was in there. And it definitely wasn’t a chick. “What the… hey! What you doing?” Kids were just so weird.
