Still waters run deep

Short posts rock! Here's mine. The song Ruri is singing is here http://video.google.com/googleplayer.swf?docid=-1176725944608359293&hl=en&fs=true It's one of my favorite songs. I play it on my guitar all the time, although it's hard to sing with my bass tone voice.

The blind girl giggled when Jac asked her to sing. She had been waiting for him to ask her. Her favorite passtime was singing, but up until Jac's return she hadn't felt well enough to sing. Now she felt an absolute need to give her pipes a workout. Her king had requested it. It was her duty. When Haven offered to walk her outside, she smiled once more, her collie's ears perked eagerly. Yes, thank's Haven. I appreciate the extra help," she replied, her ivory furred muzzled aglow with a smile. As the young knight led her outside to the party, the blind collie girl cleared her throat and began to sing, her soprano's voice ringing out with a pleasing melody. She didn't know the real title of this song, but she'd taken to calling it 'Field's of Gold', which unbeknownst to her was the real title. The fragile girl had heard it during her travel's with Jac. He'd liked it, and so she'd learned to sing it. Singing was her favorite passtime, and Jac had always told her she was gifted, but in all honesty she would have enjoyed it regardless of whether she was good or not. However, it was nice to have those around her enjoy her singing rather than detest it. Her useless eyes closed as the girl belted out the melody with relative ease, inwardly focusing on the song and also hoping that everyone would like her choice.
