Don't be, your replies have been great! (and I love Conor!) This has to be one of my favorite threads at the moment. <3 500+

Nothing like a good dose of reality to make one take a step back and look at the bigger picture, no matter how much it ached on the inside. Her nose had been in a flurry of sniffles, the tears absorbing into her cheeks and some that happened to escape some choice follicles forming at the very fine tips of hairs on her chin. Perhaps this was just the eye of the storm moving in, that tepid calmness felt before the onslaught of more chaos to come. Or perhaps things were finally calming down for the better, finally sinking into her mind.

It was indeed not the ideal meet these two puppies should have had, just think if it would have taken a different course, perhaps the two would be frolicking amongst the creamy sands; dancing with their paws in the shallow waves that broke on shores, and sparkling laughter to come from them. All that came, however, were silent tears, shattered hope. As her question hung empty in the air, Catalyst expected him to carry forth, not leaving her an answer, and in all the same manner giving her an answer of silence. That would be enough to her, then. However, the violet eyed boy turned around at her question, and for this her ears perked up a little higher, a little more forward in anticipation. What was to come from him would leave her in absolute shock for her age.

From her understanding, his mother hated him? And the only reason he "attacked" her was the fact to make her sad because his own mommy didn't like him? Sure, this made Catalyst bring on a new frustration within her, but then again the angry waves ebbed away instantly. She couldn't bring herself to be fully mad and lunge at him again like she most likely would with claws and her little teeth exposed, however, she felt a sense of understanding to come from him. He was practically in the same situation as she was, and sometimes he felt like he needed to make the rest of the world feel sadness like he did. Oh, how Catalyst knew so much of those feelings.

For a moment the ivory girl couldn't move, didn't know what to say. She was too stunned to really do anything, but once her mind and conscious began to recognize just how long she was idle for, she shook her head and gave another sniffle. It was then her paws bounded over to him clumsily, the sand breaking her speed. She stopped but mere inches away, her eyes bloodshot. There was another moment of silence before she spoke in a broken whisper to him. "It's... okay...." Whether her words were of somewhat comfort or maybe understanding, Catalyst knew however how he felt. She felt that way too, and it was pretty obvious to him that he seen that in her. She didn't smile or make any facial expression, but her dual eyes, they told it all in this moment. They were gleaming with gratefulness, sadness, frustration, understanding. To have so many different emotions running past her eyes, she hoped that the boy could see that, for lack of vocabulary from her end since she was young yet.
