Apologies for the wait, returned from absence! 300+
Gazing up at the adult, her dual eyes couldn't help but train and drink in all of the intricate patterns and colors that were on the adult female's coat. That, and her stunningly striking oceanic eyes. Wow, Catalyst wished she had eyes like that. Granted that her own eyes were strange enough (one cerulean and one light silver one out of nowhere), the adult was rather pretty for her kind, and Catalyst hoped that one day maybe she herself would look as pretty as this adult was.
However, what was to come out of the female's mouth initially would slightly irritate Catalyst. Even though it wasn't rudely put, it was enough to make the puppy grimace. English was obviously the dominant language in this region, but she would make her German pride known. "It's German." She replied in a matter of factly tone, with just the slightest attitude attached. Granted that Catalyst didn't want to start a scene, the whole weirdness thing about her home language got to her frustrations. If individuals didn't like the way she spoke German every now and then? So be it. She didn't care if they liked it or not, for it was something to be proud of. She wouldn't for a second abandon her roots.
With her dual eyes trailing back to the bird as the adult spoke about its pretty colors, Catalyst observed it for a second. Yes, it was indeed pretty, but such a shame that the bird couldn't flaunt those pretty colors anywhere anymore. "Yes'm. I got tha' bird too! Ran over it!" The ivory girl boasted, as if stating such a thing as a proud achievement. In reality, Catalyst didn't have the reflexes yet to catch such a bird out in the open. For this one, it was unfortunate fate and pure chance that it happened.
