Asariel smiled prettily and waited for Ty to explain. She felt a little slow seeing as he commented how he had been waiting for her to ask that question, but she shrugged it off nonetheless. She raised her eyebrows, surprised to hear that DaVinci had kids. From the one time that she had met him, she hadn't taken him as the kid-type. She made a face -- that encounter had not been too pleasant.
"Strange...isn't it? How somehow I was drawn back here after all these months?" She mused. "Not really. Lots of critters feel naturally drawn back to their home." She listened to his next question, if she had any family here. She was momentarily saddened by that question, feeling some form of homesickness. "No," she answered, "My family is up in California, somewhere. That's where I came from." That was a long way for one such as herself to travel, she decided. A very long way indeed.
