He spoke to her, but she did not respond. The beast had no need of a voice. It spoke in the language of force and blood. Of fangs and flesh. Oh, the little boy was smug now, no doubt thinking that because she was a female she was no match for him. But he would soon learn how very, very wrong he was. That scrape on her brother's shoulder and the scar on her mate's lip would be nothing compared to what she would do to this little worm. The shifting of her body finished and left something that looked nothing like the Commander in its place. A hulking feral beast. The pupils in those eyes of green fire contracted as she stared down her enemy.
That stare lasted for mere seconds though. A primeval roar erupted from her chest as she charged forward with the force of a train. Large clawed paws pounded in the wet ground towards what she viewed as a puny excuse for man. Those startling eyes never left his form until she was running into him, aiming to shoulder him right in the chest and push him over.
