Cwmfen returned her greeting, although with notably less exuberance. It was part of what was appealing, intriguing about her. Her calm, peaceful demeanor, and yet it had an edge - Tokyo had felt it in the spear pressed against her neck on the day she had joined Dahlia de Mai. She was dangerous, but still graceful. It was fascinating; Tokyo wanted to be like that, sort of. Well, she wanted other people to be afraid of her, but didn't really want to go through the bother of cultivating the fighting skills it would take to reach that point. It took the woad-marked female a bit to to respond about the pregnancy, and it sort of made Tokyo wonder if it was a sore subject. Which was interesting, maybe Cwmfen felt the same way about babies she did, maybe she had ended up in a situation similar to Tokyo's own, with Raphael half-way forcing himself on her. Made her wonder who the father was.

Well, what Dahlian males did she know? It was most likely someone from inside, because of course Tokyo assumed that everyone in her pack lived life as she did, primarily between the borders of the territory that was theirs. Haku, maybe. He was certainly a flirt, and since Tokyo liked both Haku and Cwmfen it would make sense to her if they liked each other. He had just recently had puppies, though, those kids Conor and Emwe. And that was most of what the act of intercourse was for, no? Then there were Sankor and Rath. Maaybe Sankor, although Tokyo hadn't ran across his scent lately - was he even a member, any longer? The idea of Rath and Cwmfen being lovers was sort of silly, to Tokyo - he reminded her waaay too much of Champ, and his completely unappealing bumbling awkwardness.

The idea of it being a sore subject made Tokyo, perversely, want to pry more. The things that people didn't want to talk about were usually the most interesting. So, casually, curiously: "So who is the father?" Her wounds really were healing pretty well, and she nodded as Cwmfen said as much. Tokyo didn't even wear the bandage, anymore. But you could still see the ragged scars on her shoulder and the places where her fur had been chewed off, bits of short fuzz standing out amongst the general length and silk of her fur. Most of the other injuries hadn't removed as much fur, so if there were scars, they were hidden pretty well by her beautiful coat.

"Sure," Tokyo replied to Cwmfen's invitation, tugging off the light gray sun dress she was wearing for the first time. It had a beautiful, intricate blue and yellow flower patterns and she folded it carefully, setting it on a rock. She dipped a foot in, testing the water, then carefully slid her whole body in. It was really weird, the calmness of the pool. She liked swimming well enough, but generally she preferred to do so in the ocean.
