The chemical scent wafting up from the creature was almost too much for Charon to bear; now that he saw the thing was covered with paint now and he almost felt bad for him. Poor, confused bastard. Frowning, Char peered down over the ledge to his bag, which had been tossed aside in his scramble. It was just out of the canine's reach and just out of the range of the bull's sharp hooves. The wolf had never wished so badly he could speak low-speech; his sister used to speak to the birds when she was alive, but Char had never bothered to pay close attention to her words. He cleared his throat and spoke in regular high speech, hoping perhaps smooth vocalizations would calm the creature enough. "Uhh... heeey, boy. Calm down, now. I'm not going to hurt you," the wolf spoke, trying to force his normally low voice into a higher-pitch, thinking perhaps it might soothe the angry bull. He tapped on the roof with the flat of his hand, attempting to catch the creature's attention. "What happened to you, huh?" he pondered, peering down at the large bull.
