Ehno felt himself slowly relax as he sat on the shore with his sibling. He put his troubling thoughts to the side for now, knowing he couldn’t ignore them but also aware that focusing on them would only cause him to feel more on edge. The chocolate hued male closed his eyes for a moment and sighed contentedly, feeling a bit calmer. He pushed the soft sands around with a paw once more, stopping when he opened his eyes. Amber gaze turned again to his sister as a small smile clung to the corner of his lips.
He was glad that Ghita had dropped by and joined him this morning. Her presence distracted him from those pressing thoughts, freeing him from their overbearing presence for a short bit. Ghita’s appearance here benefited him in another way, though he would be hesitant to think of it that way at the moment. With her here now, he could not wander about and avoid her, afraid of sharing his momentous news with her. He would have to face those fears of his now. She seemed very dedicated to learning the native tongue of this region, so he was glad to help her practice a little bit.

Savina’s children were all a rather imaginative bunch, creating many games and stories to entertain each other.
