n____n Short is fine!

Understanding what Uncle Ehno's motion had meant and eager to see what kind of monster was hiding in the corner, Gotham mimicked his sneaky movements. He placed his giant paws down one after another as quietly as he could, the atmosphere in the room feeling electric. Each step that brought the boy closer made him feel even more nervous, but even more excited. He was about to see his very first big monster! There were monsters in the rain, too, but they were very tiny and invisible and all they could do was change Amata's fur to black, like Gotham's. The monster they had cornered in this messy room was a real monster, though! And the two wolves were going to scare it, because they were sneakier and braver than even monsters were.

He nodded gravely at his uncle's plan, not making a word. He had had his little outburst in the hallway, but now it was essential that the monster didn't know they were coming. The noise that it had heard before, of both the Crimson Dreams wolves' brave voices, would have raised suspense and made it kind of scared, and now that it was thinking they had probably gone away they would scare it out of its funny monster skin!

In preparation, Gotham lowered himself closer to the dusty tiles, taking one last glance at his uncle before fixing his eyes on the monster-infested corner. The pup struggled to contain his excitement as he waited for Ehno to say those three magic numbers.
