You wanted him to have bad experiences with wolves, so I'm upping her sadface to crazy, hopefulface, and if you want, it'd be very possible for her to attack him or something. ^^ 500+ words.

#####For a moment, the feeling of the cool, hard ground beneath her, the scratching of the dried and brown leaves that were crushed against her fur, and the utter silence that had come to rest around her were more comforting than she would have initially guessed they would be. Her shallow breathing only aided in her uneasy feelings, however, and the knowledge that the stranger had not left her yet did nothing to comfort her. The world around her was suffocating, her understanding of her condition deafening. It was simply unfair. Though she had been told that some would give anything to walk the earth forever, Lolita did not find any sollace in such a thought. If Kaena or any of the others wanted it, then she could take it. If only that were possible. Lolita had always been different, having always felt like she was falling apart at the seams, but this was becoming too much for her to handle.

#####As a few steps, sounding tentative to her ears, were taken toards her. Jade eyes snapped open, the rest of her still unmoving as she sought the stranger's form in the dark. Most of his features ere undefined in the sparse lighting, but she as able to make out a few details. From all that she could see, he was not a wolf, something she had gron used to in her lifetime, though he also did not seem to have many doggish qualities, either. Some other sort of canine, surely, but she as not able to determine what kind. Evidently, he was not a very smart canine, since he had not left yet. Lolita could not think of any reason that he would stay in the same place as she, the one who had been screaming in a foreign language and crumpled from the tree so dramatically. She had yelled at him for trying to leave, she knew, but was it possible he had actually listened to her? Most assumed she was crazy, but she had not done anything crazy tonight. She was pained, and she was hurting terribly; she was not insane, by any means.

#####Perhaps that meant that he was not afraid of her. Maybe he was even like her, or would like to become the way she was. The idea was heart-warming, a shimmer of new hope entering her mind. This might be her one chance at escaping that dreaded loneliness! Her body was still unmoving, almost afraid that he might run like a startled rabbit when she finally did move. "Become like me," she whispered, the words wistful. At the moment, her very state of mind rested on the way the stranger chose to answer her plea. He did not know her, and she did not know him, but that did not matter. Lolita could only see potential for company when she looked in his direction. His name, his origins, and even his appearance were far from important to her. "Just. . . Like. . . Me," she repeated, almost even more quiet than the original words, if that were even possible.
