She did have enough sense to worry a little that perhaps he was after sex, because that was what males liked, especially from canines as beautiful as she was. But he hadn't explicitly said anything like that, and he had called her beautiful one more time. She had absolutely no moral compunction with answering "yes" to "would you do anything" but then refusing the specific if something distasteful arose. It was just so much easier. Broad, general promises tended to have a stronger emotional impact on the receiver, which allowed her to achieve more with less effort. And when asked directly as Haku did, it was much easier to agree than to try and exhaustively cover the things that she wouldn't do. No need to disappoint him until the choice was between that and something gross. "Of course, Haku." She purred his name. Tokyo thought about inquiring what he had in mind, but she was hoping that it was just a further probe along the lines of loyalty and service, and not like he actually expected her to do something. |
