The male continued to grin, pleased by the enthusiasm in Ember's voice and words. He was, however, sad to hear that she had been sick, and he raised his eyebrows slightly in sympathy. "Oh, I'm sorry to hear that!" he replied. Her mention of the horses made him think of his new friend, darling little Obi, and widened his smile just a little bit more. It was a miracle his face hadn't split in half yet.
He had brought the candy, stuffed in a side compartment of the bag, and since Ember had asked when he was halfway through increasing a stitch, he merely nodded at the pocket it was in. He hadn't tried any, since the colors weirded him out a little, but if Ember was going to he figured that he should too.
